Holst’s The PlanetsArt Around the Solar System
Join us at
Hands On! Creative Arts as we make our way around the solar
system. Each week we will travel to a new planet. Each planet offers an
interdisciplinary art lesson, reinforcing what students learn in music
class. Lessons include drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, and
collage. The curriculum is a theme based planned progression that allows
for emergent ideas and learning. The exploration of art materials
encourages problem solving and cooperation.
